Len saw the moment James realized he'd made a mistake, and cursed under his breath as his lover pulled them aside. He took mental notes, looking around at the others as James lectured them.

"Sorry, Sarge," he said with a twisted grin. "Look, how about this? We don't say a damn word, and you do all the talking, and we try not to fuck this up." He looked at Ray. "All right, Raymond?"

"Hey!" Ray exclaimed, wounded. "Why are you looking at me?"
